After a PhD in European Literatures at the University of Bologna (Italy), where I carried out a research on the history of nostalgia and its manifestations in 20-century European poetry, I joined the Centro de Estudos Clássicos in 2012 thanks to an FCT fellowship. Since then, I have been studying how the concept of threshold emerges in Classical culture and in 20th-century literature. More recently, I started exploring the role of silence in Classical and Modern Literature.
