I hold a Bachelor's degree in History from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master's degree in Universal History from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. I taught History for sixteen years, first at schools and later at universities in Chile. The primary subjects I covered were related to Western History in Antiquity, focusing on the contributions of ancient Greeks and Romans to the formation of Western civilization, as well as strategies for teaching History to school students. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Classical Studies at the University of Lisbon. My research interests include the use of examples in historical, literary, and moral works from the first century AD, and their role as a means of persuasion and education across various cultural contexts.
