Paulo Meira is a professor of Sanskrit and Ayurveda and an integrated researcher at the Centre for Classical Studies (CEC) of the University of Lisbon. He holds a PhD in Sanskrit from Tilak Maharashtra University (Pune, India). He dedicates himself to the study of Sanskrit grammar as well as Ayurveda and Yoga directly from the primary Sanskrit sources. His interests include Paninian grammar, Sanskrit poetry and theatre, and classical texts of Ayurveda and yoga.
