Pedro Braga Falcão holds a PhD in Latin Literature from the University of Lisbon. He teaches in the field of classical languages and cultures and the history of religions at the Catholic University of Lisbon. His area of specialization is classical poetry, particularly within the scope of Horace's work, where he has several articles and translations. He has also published on the reception of classical culture in the domain not only of literature, but also music, drawing on his training and regular activity as a musician. He has also carried out research work on ancient religion, teaching and accompanying various seminars in this field, and regularly publishing on these topics. He is also a writer and a poet.
