Ricardo Nobre teaches Latin at the Instituto Superior de Direito Canónico (Institute of Canon Law) of Universidade Católica Portuguesa and is a Post-Doc Researcher at the University of Lisbon’s Centre for Classical Studies. He holds a PhD in Romanic Studies (School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon) and a Master and Degree in Classical Studies. He investigates the presence of Classics in Portuguese Literature (from mid-18th century until mid-20th century) and is especially concerned with poetics and literary ideas and concepts expressed in lyric poetry.
