Currently Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Madeira, and Researcher at the Centre for Classical Studies, School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon. Member of the Editorial Board of Dedalus: Revista Portuguesa de Literatura Comparada, hosted by APLC. Member of the Organizing Committee of the series of conferences and volumes under the title A Literatura Clássica ou os Clássicos na Literatura. Author of Epopeia e Paródia na Literatura Grega Antiga (2018). Post-Doctoral Project on Byzantine Novel, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P. (2015–2021). Degree in Classics (2006), and Ph.D. on Ancient Greek Literature (2013) at the University of Lisbon. Research interests include Epic Genre, Homeric Poetry, Byzantine Romance and Reception Studies.
