I am a Ph.D. candidate in Classical Studies and a researcher at the Centre for Classical Studies (CEC) of the University of Lisbon, awarded by the FCT (Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology) a doctoral research grant [2023.02643.BD] to work on a project entitled "The Study of Latin as the Basis of Education in Portugal in 16th-18th Centuries: teachers, works and Pedagogy" under the supervision of Professor Bernardo Machado Mota. My masters' thesis was on the 16th-century neo-Latin Jesuit poetry in honour of Queen Saint Elizabeth of Portugal written in Colégio das Artes.
