Sofia Frade has an MA on Greek Literature on the choral odes of Euripides and a PhD on Greek Culture on the politics of Attic Tragedy. Her research interests focus on (i.) the relationship between tragedy and athenian democratic ideology and (ii.) the reception and performance of ancient material in contemporary culture under the topics of gender, post-colonialism, identity and politics.
