Telma Amorim (MA History and Culture of Religions, 2024, ULisboa), is starting a PhD project in History, specializing in Modern History, at the Faculty of Letters of ULisboa. In recent years, she has been a teaching assistant for the MA and PhD seminar "Theory and Methods of the Science of Religions" in History and Culture of Religions at FLUL. In 2023, she co-organized the international conference Violence in the Name of God and a think tank on apocalyptic expectations and terrorism with Ana T. Valdez, funded by the American Corner of FLUL, CEC and CH-ULisboa. She is currently involved in organizing the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Association for Spanish and Portuguese Historical Studies (ASPHS). In the past, she practiced law in the area of litigation.
