Paolo Garofalo, Ph.D. in Ancient History. From 2020 is an Assistant Researcher in the Centre for Classical Studies, School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon. He is also “cultore della materia” in Roman history at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". As an archaeologist with 15 years of experience in the field, he has conducted surveys and archaeological excavations in several sites (in Rome and Latium vetus / adiectum). He is also interested in Roman epigraphy. His current research project focuses on the transmission of Latin and Greek inscriptions in manuscripts of Aquiles Estaço.
