Andreia da Silva Almeida has a degree in Physiotherapy from the Lisbon School of Health Technology. She has a degree in History from the School of Arts and Humanities of University of Lisbon and a Master in Information and Documentation Sciences from the same School. In 2017 she completed her PhD in Contemporary History at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon. Crossing the knowledge acquired in the areas of health, History and Archival Science, the researcher has been dedicated, in recent years, to outlining the history of health in Portugal, giving special emphasis to hospital and health archives in her scientific and historiographic production.
