I hold a Bachelor's degree in History and Classical Studies, as well as a Master's degree in History, with a specialization in Ancient History. In my Master's dissertation, entitled Vita Apollonii: entre história e ficção, I examined how this biography, representative of the Second Sophistic, constructs an identity narrative that is closely linked to the shaping of the past in order to address cultural and political needs during the reign of Septimius Severus. I am currently a PhD candidate, researching the Flemish humanist Johannes Vaseus within the context of the Iberian Renaissance and historiography in the sixteenth century, as well as his intellectual exchanges with other contemporary humanists.
