He has always carried out research from an intellectual history perspective. During his first years as a graduate student, he devoted himself both to the argument of epistolography in the 19th century and to that of Renaissance authors. During his master's degree in Italy he focussed on humanism, in particular on the Latin of Jerónimo Osório, the topics of his works, and the way Antiquity was received and perceived in the Renaissance. Currently he is pursuing a PhD in Philology and the History of the Ancient World at La Sapienza University of Rome.
