I am a PhD candidate at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon and the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris. My ongoing project, which began in March 2023, concerns child kingship in the Christian kingdoms of the medieval Iberian Peninsula between the 8th and the early 13th centuries. This project received a grant from the Centre for Classical Studies, financed by the Foundation for Science and Technology. It is supervised by Professors Rodrigo Furtado (U. Lisbon) and Patrick Henriet (EPHE). In 2019, I graduated from the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon with a Bachelor's Degree in Art History. After that, I obtained a Master's Degree in History with the dissertation "Royal Succession in the Visigothic Kingdom: from 418 to the IV Council of Toledo of 633" under the supervision of Prof. Rodrigo Furtado and Prof. Nuno Simões Rodrigues. During my Master’s, I also studied at the Paris 1 University - Panthéon-Sorbonne for a full year, through an Erasmus exchange.
