I am currently doing my PhD under the supervision of Prof. Rodrigo Furtado and Prof. Patrick Henriet, for which I have been awarded a research grant by the Centre for Classical Studies, funded by the FCT. The subject of my current research is royal women and royal children in the early medieval Iberian historiography and documentation. In 2019, I graduated from the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon with a Bachelor's Degree in Art History. After that, I obtained a Master's Degree in History with the dissertation "Royal Succession in the Visigothic Kingdom: from 418 to the IV Council of Toledo of 633" under the supervision of Prof. Rodrigo Furtado and Prof. Nuno Simões Rodrigues. During my Master’s, I also studied at the Paris 1 University - Panthéon-Sorbonne for a full year, through an Erasmus exchange.

Interests: Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages; Visigothic Kingdom; Iberian Latin Historiography
