I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Centre for Classical Studies of the University of Lisbon. My master's dissertation was on the episode of Chalcomede and Morrheus of the Nonnian epic, Dionysiaca (chants 33-35), including an introduction, translation, and commentary in Portuguese under the supervision of Professor Fotini Hadjittofi, who is also supervising my Ph.D. thesis entitled “Searching for Giants: Racial Thinking in the Dionysiaca of Nonnus of Panopolis”.
