Presently, I am a Phd student, with a research fellowship, studying the religious and philosophical context of Late Antiquity. My thesis' title is "Ways of Contact with the Divine in Christian and Neoplatonic thought in Late Antiquity, from the 3rd to 6th centuries". I focus on Plotinus, Iamblichus, Proclus, and Synesius for the Neoplatonic side. On the Christian side, I study Gregory of Nyssa, Evagrius Ponticus, Dionysius Areopagitus, Cyril of Jerusalem, and John Chrysostom. - I have translated and published a translation of Longo's "Daphnis and Chloe". - I am also interested in reception of Classical texts in modern literature and other media. Particularly, I study Yukio Mishima's reception of Greek literature. - I did my bachelor in Classical Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Humanities of the University of Lisbon. 2016 - 2019. - I held a research fellowship for my masters, in Classical Studies, at the same institution. I presented a thesis on Mimesis in Plato, Plotinus and Proclus. 2019-2021.
