I have a degree in Classics by the Unversity of Lisbon. Later I got my PhD in Literature by the University of Aveiro, with a theses consisting on a partial critical edition with Portuguese translation, introduction and commentaries, of anonymal scholia to the Hermogenes of Tarsus´ treatise Περὶ στάσεων. I have since then interested and published papers on this treatise as well on scholia to the treatise. I have also participated as a translator and consultant in Bible Society of Portugal for the oecumenical translation A Bíblia para todos.
